For the Naval Health Research Center, the team operated and modernized the command’s IT environment: operations and maintenance, network and data-center operations, a tiered help desk, and custom application and database development for the command’s clinical research mission, in a DoD/Navy environment with PKI, data-at-rest encryption, and STIG/Nessus vulnerability compliance to DHA guidance, under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system and ITIL service management. A flagship effort re-platformed a large-scale clinical research system off legacy desktop tools onto a scalable, DoD-records-compliant .NET and SQL architecture.

Performed by GHz Networks Inc. · commercial
Commercial experience, enterprise speed hardened for federal.
GHz Networks forged its cloud and modernization capabilities in the fast-paced commercial sector, technical agility we now harden for federal mission environments.
GHz Networks delivered managed IT services for a large federal government contractor with more than 5,000 employees. The engagement spanned multiple sites and included administration of a server environment of more than 50 servers and operation of an enterprise help desk serving the organization’s workforce. This engagement demonstrates GHz’s ability to operate at enterprise scale across a distributed, multi-site environment.
GHz Networks modernized the full IT environment for a multi-property hospitality company: end-of-life server replacement and Active Directory redesign, a segmented network with next-generation firewalls, SD-WAN, and Wi-Fi 6 across all properties, migration of business applications and SQL databases to Microsoft Azure, and custom multi-property operations software including an occupancy and revenue dashboard, a maintenance tracking system, and booking-platform integrations. GHz then transitioned to ongoing managed services with around-the-clock help desk and infrastructure support. The work was delivered with PCI-DSS network segmentation for payment systems and a NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 security baseline.
GHz Networks migrated a financial-sector firm’s aging on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, moving identity, core infrastructure services, and disaster-recovery infrastructure to a modern, secure cloud environment. The Azure landing zone was built on Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework with a NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 security baseline, FIPS-validated encryption, role-based access control, and multi-factor authentication. The migration completed with minimal disruption, followed by a 30-day stabilization and knowledge-transfer period.
GHz Networks migrated a construction firm’s business-critical systems from end-of-life on-premises hardware to Microsoft Azure. Beyond core infrastructure and identity, the engagement centered on a set of line-of-business applications, an ERP and accounting platform with a SQL database backend, design software, and estimating tools, each requiring application-specific configuration, license reactivation, and performance validation in the cloud-hosted environment. GHz defined migration waves with rollback scenarios for each workload and validated application performance under real workloads before closeout, using a hybrid Agile and Waterfall methodology under PMBOK governance.
